This project for a new single-family house included floor plan adjustments and interior design. The clients - a couple with a teenage daughter - were open to bolder solutions in color and form. The "darkness" of the staircase was embraced by black walls with color accents of red walls and vintage lamps. The tiny downstairs bathroom forms a capsule and mimics the round shape of the staircase, creating a remarkable experience of entering the house through a compact corridor. The larger upstairs bathroom is a contrasting black and white bathing salon.
